Great beer great food great atmosphere a really nice pub. Stayed in town for business walked in on off chance and visited for three nights. Terry who runs it is very funny and welcoming. Highly recommended.
There are quite a few pubs in Deal and this is a good standard high street pub which majors on sport with big screens. On the day we visited they were full for the rugby and the management put a range of free food on the bar which was a nice touch although it was quickly removed to tables full... 更多
The New Inn is ideally placed as a watering hole for those shopping in what the Daily Telegraph has acclaimed the ‘High Street of the Year’. For those who don’t know this street is in the little seaside town of Deal on the south-east coast of Kent. The atmosphere in the pub is pleasant and the staff are friendly and... 更多
Being allergic to peppers, it now seems to be the norm of putting them in salads. I specifically asked for scampi, chips, no salad but peas instead. What turned up - scampi, chips and salad full of peppers. I pointed out the error and they took it away only to bring back the same dish saying that the peas would... 更多
A board outside promised a roast of the day or other choices for £5 plus another £5 for a sweet such as New inn mess or Christmas pudding. One larger table was laid for a Christmas lunch, with crackers etc but there were others in "normal" mode. My roast pork was good, even with the inevitable sprouts, but I found... 更多
The New Inn in Deal High Street is a wonderful place to be anytime but I have to say in particular that their Sunday Carvery is out of this world. The quality of all their food is always first rate and everything is always immaculate. Terry, Debbie and their fantastic team work tirelessly, always with big smiles on their faces,... 更多
We booked a table with friends for Sunday Lunch. We arrived about 15 minutes early but our table was ready. Not a lot to say really - which is a good thing. Friendly and timely service, a very good carvery with freshly cooked vegetables followed by a banoffee pie to die for :) It was perfect for lunch with friends.
We weng to our friends and it was suggested we went out for lunch. We has eaten before at the New Inn but not for sunday lunch. We went in and were told it was a 30 minute wait. We agreed and had a drink. We were kept informed about the table and eventually sat down. Everything abou the carvery... 更多
The dining area is separate from the main bar which was lively at lunchtime. Staff very welcoming and attentive. I had beef and ale pie which was very good, minor criticism of mashed potatoes which were dry but helped soak up gravy! My partner had fish and chips which was very filling. Nice place to relax and watch world go... 更多
We walked through the shopping street at lunchtime and came upon the pub. Once inside we were treated with good old - fashioned courtesy. We all chose different things from the menu and each meal was very good home cooked food. An enjoyable visit and a pity we couldn't stay longer and enjoy the puddings or more beer.
