We have eaten at many Amish restaurants, but for the value this was very good. Homey & comfortable, our Amish waitress was engaging, helpful,& pleasant. We ordered mashed potatoes with noodles (yummy) & pieces of peanut butter & chocolate pies. It is downtown Berlin with parking out front. Lots of locals eating there also. Very inexpensive.
We ate here for dinner based on reviews by other diners and also because it was one of the only places open later. It was just average diner food, nothing special. It wasn't bad, just nothing spectacular. I was disappointed because I was expecting something better.
We are visiting Berlin for the first time and a few ladies in different stores recommended this because is where the locals eat. They do! My hubby got a kick at how they all turned to look at the door when we went in. It is like being in the old neighbourhood. Old style, not modern or fancy, but very... 更多
Plan for a wait at peak breakfast and lunch hours. The food is good and filling. The sausage links are unique to the area and locally made. Fried mush with syrup or sausage gravy is a family favorite. Our children like the veal patty sandwich, it's similar to pork tenderloin. The pies are all made in Berlin, and there are... 更多
On a day trip through Amish country to do some bulk shopping. Planned ahead to stop into Boyd and Wurthmann for lunch and was not disappointed. Arrived a little after 11 am and the place was already about full on a Friday. It is seat yourself so ou can hopefully grab a seat in the window or at one of... 更多
Not fancy, but has an old fashioned , casual atmosphere. Good service, delicious breakfast, but usually busy, so be prepared to wait. I recommend the " trainwreck" for breakfast, all sorts of delicious breakfast food, covered with gravy. Wow!
Have eaten here on at least a dozen trips to Holmes Co. Breakfast, lunch or supper it is always good-not fancy at all but everything is good! Can be really busy especially on Fridays and Saturdays.
This was a very nice diner like restaurant. We were looking for something quick while we were shopping. Good food and quick service. Very reasonable prices
We had asked locals for a good Amish restaurant. We had a group of 12 plenty of seating in the back of the restaurant. Food was pretty bland I had the hamloaf. Service was quick.
Very good and very cheap! Always busy and place isn't all that big so prepare to wait a little. So worth the wait for all of the homemade food!
I loved the chili. I think they serve it with a piece of locally made cheese (Heini's or Guggisberg Cheese Chalets). It is a quaint, local favorite.
