Excellent pub, nice and open plan inside. Good Guinness, not quite Dublin standards but very good. Would recommend a visit.
My fiancé has been here twice before with coworkers; today was my first visit. We had the fish & chips and corned beef & cabbage. Both dishes were delicious and fairly priced for the portions we received. Our server was friendly and the service was quick. We will be back!
I haven't been to Finnegan's Wake for some years but upon my return it's great the see that it has only got better! The food is great and they now have a hidden gem. The Malt Bar... Great traditional Irish pub fate, with contemporary options as well. I had the fish & chips. Large portion was enough for two. Fish very mild. Good selection of beverages on tap. Nightly specials, live music, the patio, the food, the culture, soccer, etc. etc. A little loud for a business meeting, but it depends on your kind of business meeting.
This place is a typical college bar with an Irish motif. The servers are cool and accommodating, even for large groups. They were nice about changing the channel for us to watch the NHL playoffs. The food is okay. Typical pubgrub. I would say it's exactly what you'd expect it to be.
