We were lucky as the eatery was re-opening one of the nights we were in town. Nice seating, great service and amazing food. If you are in town eat at this place.
I guess we lucked out. We stopped into Ristorante Paoletti without reservations on a Sunday evening. We were visiting the area for the weekend. We had no expectations beyond Italian cuisine. Food, service, wine--all exceeded what we have come to expect in a tourist town. I usually don't eat my whole meal and my husband gladly finishes my plate. But,... 更多
The dinner we had here were not good. My Lobster ravioli had no taste at all and my fiancée spaghetti and meatballs was the same - I make better hands down. Server never asked how we liked it even though it should have been obvious by the amounts left on our plates. Overrated food and service lacking!

Make your reservations well in advance. Two weeks out gave us only 2 options...5:15 or 8:30. We have dined in many fine restaurants all over the world, but seldom have we seen the food, the service and the hospitality coalesce into such a fine blend of 5-star experiences. The linguini with white clam sauce and the sea scallops with mashed... 更多
We have eaten at this restaurant for 2+ decades. Never disappoints. Service, food, wine, and overall atmosphere is top notch. Hard to believe you can find this authentic Italian in a sleepy little NC town, but it's the real deal.
We had a party of 8 for a Birthday Celebration at Paoletti Nov 18th. Amazing Wine and Fabulous Dinner. We come back to Highlands once a year and never miss having dinner here. Always Exceptional, don't forget to make reservations at least 3-4 weeks ahead of time for a larger party.
During our recent visit to Highlands, N.C., we enjoyed several restaurants, but THIS was our favorite. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. The servers were very friendly and eager to answer questions that we had about "what to do" in Highlands. Call ahead for reservations since this is a small restaurant...you won't be disappointed!
My husband and I enjoyed a fall weekend getaway in Highlands and our innkeeper recommended Paoletti's. It was very busy due to the Food and Wine Festival that weekend. Reservations are a must. The atmosphere is cozy and romantic and the service exceptional. All staff were friendly and the owner stopped by our table to see how things were. We... 更多
The wine list is extensive and expensive. I had Trout Francese. It was excellent. The grilled cabbage, peppers, onions were inventive but only okay. The octopus appetizer with paprika and potatoes was generous but not special. The wine was good. The server we had wanted to rush us. That is understandable, because the restaurant is so small you feel cramped... 更多
