Excellent Mexican food. Great service and enjoyable atmosphere. Restaurant used to be a Hardee's-not that it matters. Was enjoyable.

My husband and I were in Hendersonville at apple festival time and didn't want to park and walk to a restaurant on main street. We decided on Mexican and were pleasantly surprised at how wonderful Cocula was. The atmosphere is very colorful and the staff is funny. Most importantly, the food is great! They had a unique salsa bar! It... 更多
Service is quick even when the restaurant is full. The food is varied and tasty. There is a variety of beers and mixed drinks available. The small open area can be a bit loud, but you will be busy enjoying your meal. I had the Sombrero- delicious skirt steak and shrimp. Bring a big appetite.
The salsa bar is great. The chili relent very good. Taco, chili poblano, and nachos just ok. My husband could not get 3 tostados, which we found rather strange. Service good.
Ohmygoodness, how fun was this place. The dining room was artfully decorated in a playful, colorful Frieda Kahlo style; the salsas....some of them I had never heard of! And I have eaten a LOT of specialty salsas! The customer service was truly awesome, as the server and cooks did the best to accomodate our children's special requests (for smaller portions,... 更多
Cocula is a family friendly Mexican Restaurant with good food at reasonable prices. Just on the outskirts of Hendersonville, it's located next to the Ingle's plaza in Laurel Park. It offers a "happy & bright" atmosphere, so if you are looking for a romantic outing this might not be the place for you. It's clean, the staff is quite friendly,... 更多
We were looking for a Mexican restaurant after hiking in the Dupont Forest and found Cocula. We were initially skeptical but all the reviews were good so we gave it a try. This did NOT disappoint. Plenty of options on the salsa bar -- which appears to be very common in this area, not that I'm complaining. The enchiladas verdes... 更多
First, they are one of the few restaurants in Asheville/Hendersonville area that carry Carta Blanca. Second the food was good with only one criticism that the plates were not hot when delivered to the table so that food cooled very rapidly. Otherwise, enchiladas, tamales, and a chimichanga were delicious. And the price is right!
Chicken soup was off the chain. Almost a complete breast and loaded with vegetable Sam slices of avocado. Order the small unless you are super hungry. Also check out the enchilada Verde. Great tomatillo sauce. The salsa bar is also a great find. Everything from mild to spicy. Reasonable prices and great waitstaff. Will definitely be back.
