My family and I ate at Jackalope's and loved it. The food was very satisfying and the staff friendly. We will definitely be stopping in next time we are in the area.
My fiancée and I were advised to grab a bite at the Jackalope Restaurant by a fellow hiker on Grandfather Mountain. We are so glad we took the advice of a stranger! It was about 10-15 minutes away from Grandfather Mountain's park entrance and we didn't get lost (he told us to find Beech Mountain)! Once we arrived the waitress... 更多
Stayed at the inn for three nights. The restaurant had just reopened. Easily the very best breakfast anywhere near near Beech; sweet potato pancakes, yum. The new menu is fabulous; real home cooking. Be sure to try the chicken and pastry and the mac and cheese. great stuff, and a good value.
Jackalope's has closed. It is being remodeled and will reopen under a new name and new owner/mgmt. We were told it should reopen sometime after Memorial Day.
One of the original restaurants on the mountain. The trout dinner is wonderful. Many other good choices. Very friendly management. Better to have a reservation.
We saw the online menu and were very excited to try a few items just to arrive and discover they had a new menu and to add they were out of chili and chicken which half of their new menu was dependent upon. We were very disappointed at the experience. Very small menu. The atmosphere was decent once you walk... 更多
For the high price, I was very dissapointed, Steak was tough, and kale was almost inedible, you can't mess up a potato, grocery store bread was like cardboard. Don't waste your money. But the view was nice.
My fiancé and I spent two nights at Archer's Inn for a ski trip. The hotel was okay, but we were told that the hotel and restaurant were separate, so I will review them separately. We had dinner at Jackalope's view on Sunday night. We were the only people in the restaurant the entire time, and now I know why.... 更多
This was my second time at this restaurant. Last year, we enjoyed a delicious veil and trout. This year the restaurant was nearly empty. The wine selection was limited and the Cabernet we had was only ok. After ordering they notified us that they were out of Caesar salad which we both ordered. I ordered a blackened chicken pasta. However... 更多
We had made reservations and were excited to try this restaurant. We found out they are only open Thursday-Sunday. When we got there we were immediately taken with the view. It was stunning. Then we looked at the menu and were slightly disappointed in the small selection. Then the waiter told us the the chef was not making three of... 更多
