We went to celebrate a birthday and it was a very pleasant experience. The restaurant is now named Dalton.
Food was decent and reasonably price. Decor was basic. Service was poor - there were only 3 tables occupied when we arrived and the other 2 were finishing up, but the waitress took forever to take the order, then got it wrong. The only thing Joey's has going for it is that it is really the only non chain restaurant... 更多
Note: this review is from September 2015 - just submitting review now in addition to a few other places I've stayed/eaten. We stopped in at Joey's Place for some food and drink after a cancelled flight. It was a nice neighborhood pub, great music, good food and it was a fairly busy spot. I ordered onion rings and other typical... 更多
Joey's is a combo bar and restaurant. I have only eaten on the bar side at the tables in the back (over 10 times). But it is the same food as the restaurant. Traditional NY style Italian home style food. Is it NY "haute cuisine"? NO. But you can't get a better Veal anywhere for $14!
This is a small, unclean bar/pub. The food is of poor quality and very much over priced for portion size and quality. A short walk or ride...you could find better.
This was within walking distance of our hotel for the night. It is a local bar/saloon that serves food, some with an Italian flavor. The decor was mostly neon beer signs and a few video games. The place was dark, but the female bartender, who was also our waitress, was great. After three glasses of wine,( we were not driving)... 更多
Joey's Place is an average neighborhood bar conveniently located. The menu is actually pretty decent. Kudos to the cooks. Whether it's take out or eat in the meal is always delicious. Bar atmosphere.
A clean, unassuming spot with white tablecloths, decent food, and cheerful service. Sometimes rap or electronica from the adjoining bar drowned out the Ratpack/Muzak schmaltz of the restaurant, which amused rather than annoyed us, as did the pro wrestling on the big screen TV. Based on our visit, Rigatoni Pomodoro and Angel Hair Primavera (with chianti, of course) can both... 更多
Recommended by out hotel. The outside was a little scary and dark, poorly lit entry but inside was very nice. An old building nicely restored. Tables had white linens, were far enough apart to allow some intimacy and privacy. Our waitress was wonderful, the food was very good, basically Italian or Mediterranean; presentation quite nice. Would recommend.
