Fantastic omelette. Hubby had excellent full breakfast. Service excellent, friendly efficient and helpful.
A wine cellar (Rooiberg) with a great restaurant included.Realistically priced yummy food with good friendly service sums up this restaurant. From the well prepared hamburgers in secret sauce with chips (R75) or smoked BBQ sauce (R75), to breakfasts till 12 noon. Good kiddies menu (around R45) with milkshakes etc. Wine list (cellar prices) and great outdoor seating on grass under... 更多
Beautiful setting. Absolultely perfect for a sunny winter's day. The service was excellent and so was the food. They even have a little shop with various goodies to buy.
I am a regular, and yes, there has been a problem in the past year with service, I was pleasantly surprise yesterday with their service& a tasty Bobotie wrap! Their coffee has always been good! Affordable prices, trendy homemade food. Coxy fireplaces, red chairs on the inside, nice! What I do like alot is that one hardly wait long to... 更多
My wife and I have had breakfasts and lunches here on a regular basis over the years on our travels to the Garden Route and stays in the Robertson Valley and even got to know the staff. We were staying self catering nearby and were recommended this as a place for breakfast. Sitting outside we found the service good and the breakfast kept us going until supper (nearly!). This was an excellent bakery/breakfast lunch venue...once upon a time We did not go in this time as we were there at opening time only to wait around a few minutes as it was closed. The transport for the staff then pitched up...it would not have been a good experience with everyone on the back foot etc etc Note to the... 更多
With such a great location, this restaurant have much potential, but they have to upgrade their service and attention to detail. Food was ok, but service poor.
We stopped for lunch, and had the butter chicken curry. Absolutely exquisite. Nice wine at very reasonable prices. The log fire kept us warm in the rainy weather.
En route from Cape Town to Oudtshoorn we stopped for a coffee break at Robertson. The blazing open fire was a real attraction and the great selection of fresh pastries (which were very cheap) was excellent. Great coffee and soups. Would stop again for a main meal
