I went to this restaurant one evening with my wife and we were quite disappointed with the taste of their food. We expected it to taste like good Sourhern BBQ, but it appeared like the cook has no concept of taste. The food was bland and tasted awful. We did not complete our dinner and left very dissatisfied. It was... 更多
Had a very mixed experience, went with a large group (had a reservation) but felt like someone dropped the ball on it. We're sat on the backside by the the kitchen and waitress totally forgot about us to the tone that by the time our order was in kitchen was out of portions of our order. Only thing that kind... 更多
We stopped here before a concert and were very impressed with the service and food. The location is right on the corner of Market diagonal to the Prudential Center. The decor inside is very laid back and relaxed. The service was excellent and although they were busy due to a show at the Prudential Center, they handled the crowd very... 更多
The menu was kind of intimidating at first. You have to get the pulled pork poutine! Soo yummy. The waiter was really helpful and friendly as well as the staff at the front of the house. Seemed s bit pricey got bbq but it was tasty! Good spice. Even on the Mac and cheese.
Soon after arriving at our hotel in Newark, we headed over to Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, where our group of 14 Anaheim Ducks fans had 7:15 reservations for Thursday-night dinner. We were quickly seated at a couple of large tables at the back of the restaurant, in view of a television on which we hoped to watch the Ducks play the Bruins... 更多
We ate here before a concert at the Prudential Center(across the street). The concert was at 8. At 6:15 while looking for parking, we called and there was no wait(they don't take reservations when there's an event at Prudential Center). By the time we parked, we waited almost 45 minutes for a table! Wings were good. Medium "heat" definitely has... 更多
We had a late lunch sunday. The three meats dish was 1/2 chicken brisket and pulled pork. Sides of whipped sweet potato baked beans and rice and beans. This is one of those places where you are making noises as you eat and usually ummm! Service was great the bar b que best around here hands down! We saw sliders... 更多
Sunday dinner in this restaurant chosen on very positive previous experience in the Syracuse (NY) one. Ribs and side sauce were perfect and delicious. A must for this place. Service fair enough (waitress forgot to bring us a beer). Overall, a good place to go.
We went to Dinosaur Bar-B-Que on the recommendation of our hotel staff. We had the BBQ Ribs, salad, macaroni and cheese, sweet potatoes and chocolate pie. We ordered the half rack and shared. It was enough for two of us as we are not big eaters. The macaroni and cheese, sweet potatoes and pie were wonderful. Enjoyed the entire dinner,... 更多
I sense a theme in New Jersey that unlike NYC, things here are slow. As suggested, I did call ahead to book a 7:15 pm table for 14 people on a Thursday night, and asked if we could have a TV so we could watch the Anaheim Ducks vs Boston game. On a non game day, its not busy here... 更多
Just came back from Newark and cannot believe how many times I have been there even most recently staying downtown and I have never had Dinosaur BBQ before. Another long day in the city and getting in after 8pm I had to figure out what I could eat. I did not want to eat at the Bistro at my hotel... 更多
Been to New York a few times now. We've had good food but our meal here tops all the rest. I had the chicken streak a 10 oz. mojito marinated breast topped with smoked onions and chimichurri sauce. Served with black beans & rice and sweet whipped sweet potato sprinkled with spicy walnuts. When it came out it looked a... 更多
