A lovely place to dine in Cape May. I have been there twice, and have had very good meals, good service and a lovely atmosphere!
We stayed at the Inn so breakfast was included--food was excellent and so was the wait staff. We also had dinner here one night. My cousin got the pork chop--it was HUGE and he said delicious.
This was our first time here as it was just next door to our hotel. Both the food and service were very good. This is one of Cape Mays Victorian restaurants and we just enjoyed everything about the place. They are now only open for special events till next season. Recommend you call ahead before you go.
My wife had an omelet and I have buttermilk pancakes with fresh strawberries..... both were excellent. Our server was friendly, funny, and kept the coffee coming. Prices were very reasonable.
had not been here in awhile as I thought it was going downhill. But we gave it a try for lunch today and was very happy with the meal and service. Will probably give it another try for dinner in the future.
Recently dined here in late fall. No issues getting a table as it was off season. This is one off the few places that serves liquor, but you are taxed separately (vat tax) on it which is a Cape May thing. Food was very good and the service was excellent. This place will not disappoint you.
Recommended by Avondale Hotel (next door) we had a really nice Lunch here and enjoyed it so much that we returned that evening for Dinner. Great choice of Food and 'Specials' plus Wines to suit all palates. Beautifully cooked - the empty plates spoke volumes. Lovely Dining Room, excellent Service, spotlessly clean 'facilities' and very reasonably priced. Capable of hosting... 更多
It was our anniversary but we need to keep in the budget and find gluten free options. So, Aleathea's First Seating option for 2 choices of Soup/Salad/Appetizer plus 1 Entree for $25 really fit our need (they also have an option of 3 choices plus entree for $35). Plus they have a beautiful view of the ocean. I had a... 更多
We enjoyed our visit to Aleathea's. The New England Clam Chowder was delicious. The Coconut Shrimp with Thai Chili Sauce was delightful.
Very well decorated and appointed. Especially caring staff, servings were not only delicious but beautifully plated. If we lived within 100 miles of Cape May, we'd return to Aleathea's every month forever.
