Tried this place out based on the reviews and recommendations. The food was decent, but by no means worth the wait. The Orange and Almond French toast was pretty good; but the Morgan Rostie omelet was bit dry. I was really disappointed with the service; though pleasant, the wait service was slow and spotty. If there isn't a line I... 更多
Really good food - not fine dining, more casual (not bathing suit casual, but tshirt and flip flops casual). I recommend sitting outside for people watching, although they do have a nice indoor area as well (have done both). I got the hummus appetizer plate - that was a meal in itself! It was very nicely presented and very tasty.... 更多
The food here was fabulous! My family and I had both dinner and breakfast here as we were staying in the B&B above! Our servers were always great--thanks Barb and Tessa!
We were stuffed after having breakfast at The Mad Batter. You'll pay more than most places for this breakfast, but you'll be getting a much better (and filling) breakfast here. The sausage isn't the pencil thin links, you're getting thick breakfast sausage that tastes excellent. I had creamed chipped beef, which I normally wouldn't choose for breakfast but it caught... 更多
The Mad Batter was a great breakfast and just enough portions, great seafood. The server was very thoughtful and accommodating. She was friendly and talkative and asked about my life. Food quality was excellent.
We love Cape May and got married here yesterday! We support local businesses and there were so many places we wanted to incorporate into our special day! While their back dinning/sun room is darling for a small wedding, it wasn't quite big enough for the number of guests we ended up having. However, we ended up including the Mad Batter... 更多
Came here and ordered the waffles, husband ordered pancakes. Delicious. We went here every day of or stay in cape may. Dinners are good too surprisingly, and so are the cocktails. A must for any stay in Cape May, there is a reason people line up for th place!
The food was great the service was awesome, we were there on Mother's day, we had breakfast , it was crazy busy, the staff was so efficient and worked so diligently to accommodate everyone and make every mother special!!! Thank u guys!!!
We try to eat breakfast, brunch or lunch here whenever we visit the Jersey shore. It is such a charming place, especially the back porch overlooking the little garden. I have not had one bad dish here, ever! My husband enjoys their ever-changing selections of craft beers and I just enjoy th food. .
We went there for dinner. We got there a little early (opens at 5) so we sat at the bar and had drinks. They were very good. For dinner my wife had the Tuscan Fettuccine and I had the Creamy Garlic Fettuccine. Both were large portions and we couldn't finish them even though we REALLY wanted to.
We were meeting friends from the Philly area for dinner. I made reservations on Tuesday for a Friday dinner. Our party of 5 was an odd number so I called on Tuesday. When my party arrived the restaurant had no record of my reservations. Luckily they were able to seat up without a wait. Unluckily it was beside the band... 更多
We had breakfast here and a dinner. The food is very good and the service was excellent. If you don't have meal discounts from staying at the hotel, the food is $$$, the same as most of the other eateries in the area.
Went for Sunday brunch so it was crowded but the place is huge so waits are reasonable. The food is really good plus there are a lot of vegan options. Great location that's right in the beach area. This is a great choice for just about any type of food.
Celebrated our anniversary here while in Cape May. It was restaurant week so we ordered from the price fixed menu. I had the grilled salmon, mashed potatoes and asparagus. It was de-lish! Hubby had the white bean ravioli which he also liked. Dessert was a chocolate lava cake...what's not to like? Drinks were also quite tasty, especially the grapefruit martini.... 更多
