I love eating here..buffet is really good, they refill the trays pretty quick.. Calling in an order for 6 co-workers food was ready in less than 15 minutes
Read reviews and decided to go. Staying at motel 6 with a parked RV, we had to walk. Short walk. The food was fresh, tasted so good, and portions huge. We decided instead of the combo dinner, to get individual entries and share. Sweet & sour chicken, shrimp with lobster sauce, chicken lo mein, ALL delish, fresh and ended up... 更多
I went to the Twin Wok with trepidation since I am Chinese-American and very seldom find decent Chinese food outside of Chinese communities. I was extremely pleased that Twin Wok had good "old school" Chinese food with good sauces, great seasoning, and plentiful portions. They were even accommodating enough to pan fry and sear the chow mien noodle - something... 更多
We must have found the other Twin Wok in a parallel universe because this one did not fit the glowing reviews we read on TA. The place is run down, no AC (or it was broke) so the doors were wide open in the 100 deg. heat. The tables and chairs needed some help, our table looked like an earthquake... 更多
Oh my, large platters of Shrimp Egg Foo Young and Cashew Chicken arrived with a "barrel" of rice. Spicy dishes are included on the menu, but we passed them this time. A convention in town made the place busy, so service was slow. Each dish Seemed made to order not slapped together.
Chinese in rural Nevada? Sometimes it can be one of the best choices. This definately holds true for dining out in Ely. There are not a lot of choices, but this ended up being a good one. Is it the BEST Chinese food I have ever had? No, not by a long shot. But for American style Chinese food this... 更多
Most Chinese buffets in America are carbon copies of one another. You won't find any surprises at the Twin Wok --- but that's a good thing. The selection is a bit low, but the quality is excellent, the price is good, and the restaurant is easily accessed.
Twin Wok was a nice find in the small town of Ely. The service was excellent, and the food quality very good. We had the cashew shrimp and orange chicken with fried rice, wantons, and egg rolls. All of the entries were excellent without any MSG.
The staff were certainly quick and it felt that we needed to eat in a hurry. It was the nearest place to eat after a drive from Salt Lake City. The food was edible and did not give me or my wife an upset stomach. That is as much as I can say about the culinary experience.
