Went for lunch, had BBQ sandwich w/ fries. Both were good BBQ was a little sweet for my taste. Could have used a little kick. Wife had a non descript hamburger with mac and cheese as a side, it was served cold...sent it back.
What a surprising and fun place Sparky’s turned out to be. First thing you notice when you enter is that it’s an eclectic mix of all things automotive – complete with one of the tables in the back of a pick-up. Had the smoked sausage sandwich and coleslaw. Pretty tasty. And the service was friendly. Definitely worth stopping in if you are traveling through.
Great decor, relaxed atmosphere and an excellent menu selection for the entire family. Very good wait staff and reasonably-priced meals. Sparky's is always on our "short list" for feeding out-of-town guests.

Service was great! Food is always good. Chicken fried steak with brown gravy was wonderful. The kids love sitting in the back of the old pickup. While you are waiting for the food, you can look around at all the antique decorations. They do have a full bar but still have a great family atmosphere.
I eat here pretty regularly and I have always had a good experience. The menu is pretty varied, with beef, pork, chicken and fish dishes. I often get a pulled pork sandwich with cole slaw that I particularly like. The antique decor is kind of fun and they have a patio area with a nice view.
