What a great pub.. Not many left like this .. Roaring fire in the winter .. Really nice pub food that would put some top class eateries to shame, reasonable prices... Go back in time when pubs were pubs... Also has it's own ghost... Well worth a visit especially if you like walking as it's right on the edge of... 更多
A large group of us made the mistake of going to this pub for lunch on a Sunday. The only main meals available on a Sunday are roast lamb, pork, beef or turkey and just vegetarian lasagne... 更多
A group of six we arrived early one evening with out booking and were accommodated in the bar. A varied menu was provided and orders taken over the bar. The food was good and there was an offer of two steaks and a bottle of wine for less than £30. Some of us chose this and the steaks were delicious.... 更多
Third time and it wont b our last. staff are excellent and cant do enough, food is first class has to be our favourite place to eat even though we have to travel 30 miles each way its worth it. Stuffed peppers are stunning.
Been here on numerous occasions with family and also as a couple and I love it. Food is lovely and drinks are good what more can you ask for. Staff are always friendly and polite, location is fab especially in the summer, love sitting outside with a nice view. Worth a visit.
Recommendation by the nearby Royal Porthcawl Golf Club, friendly welcome from landlord Gareth and staff, excellent pint of Bass and local Welsh faggots for main course. Lots of local history to view in this character pub, well worth a visit. Even HRH Prince Charles has dropped by!
