Good food and a nice quiet table makes for an excellent business lunch. My associate enjoyed the shrimp pad thai. I had the breaded pork cutlet. Sauces and salads and soups were all excellent.
Nippon Tei doesn't look like much from the outside, it is in a strip mall. Definitely go inside for really good sushi. We liked it better when they had the bar next door. That was our favorite place to eat, but the dining room works. Order the red dragon sushi. It is delicious.
My friends and I ordered 2 riceless rolls and 4 regular rolls. They were all amazing and huge! The service was good...it just took a little extra time to make those awesome sushi rolls. It was a little more pricey than we are accustomed to but it was worth it. I can't speak for my friends but I would most... 更多
Nippon Tei, although in a strip mall, offers excellent dishes in a clean, well run and often busy Restaraunt. Sushi offerings are extensive. With your water comes a small complimentary dish of edamame-nice touch! Tsukemono salad superb. Also offers large plates of items other than sushi. Saw swift carryout while dining too! It is now connected to a Ramen noodle... 更多
went there for lunch and ordered the dragon roll, spicy crab, spicy scallop and the zen roll. way too much food. on a scale of 1-10 the spicy scallop was a 12. the spicy crab was a close second. and because they were so good they made the dragon and the zen look bad. the zen roll was much larger... 更多
We've been twice now. Both times the teen got sushi and I tried other things. The teen loved the white dragon roll and got it both times. I tried the dumplings and tom kha kai the first time. The dumplings were good, but didn't seem any better than the frozen kind. The soup was so spicy I could not eat... 更多
Our first visit there. We were visiting family in Ballwin and on the way back home we just searched our car's GPS for the nearest restaurant and the Nippon Tei came up as one of the choices. As we are fans of Asian food, it was worth trying. We were not disappointed. Very nice atmosphere and good menu selections. Always... 更多
We were disappointed that the adjoined lounge area had been replaced by a Ramen restaurant. Business was quite brisk in both restaurants. We had 3 couples in our group and tried a variety of dishes. Shrimp pad Thai was very good as was all the sushi. Another person did all the ordering so I don't know the names. All dishes... 更多
My wife and I acquired a taste for quality sushi during the 15 years we lived in Southern California. Of all the sushi places we can find in greater St. Louis Nippon Tei is our favorite. The ambience is chic, modern and the place has a nice vibe. Brian and his staff know how to throw down the tastiest of... 更多
It is not very common for a place to have both the highest quality and very modest prices, but this place does combine those 2 traits and merits 5 stars. I am a sushi aficionado and am extremely picky about sushi and there is simply nothing to criticize here. Every sushi item I've had has been pristinely fresh and the... 更多
