Always top shelf. The seafood soup is the best. Great suggestions on wine pairings. Fantastic menu. Impeccable service. Must have reservations but also fun to sit in bar.
If you are looking for Italian that is not the ordinary spaghetti and meatballs, then this is the place. I Nonni's food is always, fresh, inventive and extremely tastey - your sophisticated taste buds will thank you. Their pastas are served in small and large plates so it's easy to try multiple items. Their spicy sausage orecchiette or the ragu... 更多
This place was great. I can't believe I had never heard of it prior to eating there. Was a little pricey, but food and atmosphere was really nice. Got the veal shank ($46), porchetta (which ended up being more like a really good huge 2 bone pork chop), oxtail, and carpaccio plate. All said and done I think it was... 更多
This was the worst dining experience I've had. We went for their Restaurant Week menu (3 course meal for $35 and wine flight for $20). From start to finish we were there for over 2.5 hours. Our server "forgot" about us (yes - his words). Then we waited another 30+ minutes for bread. We didn't have our first course until... 更多
This review is long-overdue because, though we are residents of California & Hawai'i, we visit Minnesota twice a year. During our extended stays, we frequent this restaurant multiple times during every visit! Whether it's a quick bite to eat sitting in the bar, out on the patio or in the formal dining room with a crowd, I Nonni never fails... 更多
We started with excellently made cocktails--Manhattan di Tommaso, and i Nonni Negroni. (Having published a book, "Damn Near Perfect Cocktails," we're very fussy--and these are excellent.) The Pancia di Maile (pork belly) was one of the most tasty pork bellies we've had. And, the Chitarra al Arabesque ( black tiger shrimp with orange, roasted tomatoes, basil, and lobster star-anise cream)... 更多
My wife and I have eaten at I Nonni many times in the past but recently dined at the restaurant and noted a few changes. The food was excellent, even better than what we remembered. The appetizer salad of heirloom tomatoes and the fresh Maine scallop appetizer were both complex in taste and excellent. We had two pasta dishes, one... 更多
Went there for a Birthday celebration with 11 people family and friends. The place was so hot inside that everyone was sweating and fanning themselves, they finally brought a fan over to our table to help the situation. The place wasn't very busy to begin with but it took almost an hour to get our food which was below average... 更多
Wonderful restaurant, waitstaff is polite, friendly and accommodating. Food is incredible!!! Hands down the best Italian meal I have ever had. The Figgy Pudding is to die for. Fine dining at it's best! Be prepared to leave well fed!
Had a really fantastic dinner this last Saturday night (6/25). My husband took me there to celebrate my birthday. We have been there a few times in the past, and now that La Belle Vie is closed (my pick the past several years) we thought we'd go back to i Nonni which is close to home. We had a great... 更多
