In the heart of Newburyport, Glenn's is a nice find for good food, good entertainment, and a very nice atmosphere.
Pleasantly surprised with the entire evening We were seated in a quiet area, cocktails were generous and tasty, wait staff was attentive but not overbearing We actually closed the place around 10:00 Food was very good, everyone enjoyed their appetizers and meals Will return although a bit pricy
A busy Friday night was perhaps not the best time to try Glenn's. Certainly a lively ambiance with patrons enjoying drinks and dinner. I found the maitre de to be less than friendly and we ended up having to retrieve our own menus. Food was good with the exception of the cole slaw that came with the fish and chips.... 更多
We had a wonderful experience dining at Glenn's. Staff was friendly and attentive. We were sat right away (Thursday evening). The blackened haddock was a table favorite, amazing flavor, side dishes that complimented the fish!! The crab Mac and cheese was great too. Glenn's offers a decent wine list (but ran out of rose....) The wings were super! The shrimp... 更多

I was a Glenn's customer for 25 yrs. they moved and now the service and food is not good. I have a steak that was probably the worst steak I ever tasted. I even told the waitress. Too bad. I loved this place. Unfortunately I'm done
We used to really like Glenn's and thought it had closed, so we were happy to hear that they moved to The Tannery. The service, however, was so slow and it wasn't busy. It took almost thirty minutes to get our drinks and then place our order. Then it took another 30 to get our food. When we finally did... 更多
$75 for terrible service, terrible food. The salad was iceberg lettuce with a few carrot strips and incredibly mediocre. The carpaccio was pale and tasted old.
We've been going to the old Glenn's (first Galley, then Restaurant & Cool Bar) for ~twenty years, so we anxious to try the new place. Julie still greets you and many of the old menu standards like the seared tuna are still there and still excellent. The building atmosphere is very nice, with the dining room and bar downstairs and... 更多
