I really do like the back patio where you can see the grounds, very relaxing. Of course the food is good too, whatever you like.
Nostalgic Ice Cream stand. I assume the ice cream is not made on location. Shain's and Shaker Pond are better choices for Ice Cream quality. Shaws Ridge has the more interesting location. Take a stroll in the garden.
Not bad with plenty of varieties of ice cream. I like that the order taker was not the ice cream scooper. This made the line move more quickly in my opinion. We visited on a Tuesday about 11:30am. The staff was friendly. The ice cream was to die for!! It was just like I remembered when I was kid years and years ago. We did take a large container to go as well...I'm eating it now ;)
We took our grandchildren for an ice cream treat and they loved it. The selection of ice cream has something for everyone. Outside they have a small playground for children and a mini golf course and driving range so you can burn off the ice cream .
I almost found it. Great flavor, but short on raisins. I have had other flavored here. Consistently good flavored and generous portions. A single scoop is much more and manageable. A double is "good trouble". Well worth the visit. Tell them to dig deep for the raisins.
great ice homemade cream, a favorite spot; shade trees and a nice playground for little kids. One conundrum: my favorite is rum raisin, and it is delicious here, but there are no raisins visible in the ice cream. It is a mystery!
Ice cream is still good, although they have been out of my favorites lately. My big complaint is the price increase. A little to high for me- going to have to pass and search for ice cream elsewhere.
Delicious ice cream, numerous flavors, and beautiful flowers and benches outside to enjoy your tasty treats besides. Swing set to keep the little ones occupied while relaxing on a summer evening.
