Great pies for special occasions but the owners have recently retired . It's just a heads up for those who looked forward to eating or eating their pies .
Beautiful , bursting with flavor berries, encased in a light, delicate crust. No gooey sugary syrup. Just mounds of glorious berries. It is expensive. And it is worth every penny!! This is to a grocery store pie, the equivalent of a fresh picked garden tomato to a grocery store tomato in February. You've got to taste it to believe it.... 更多
We stopped because my husband's family loved them from years ago. The baked goods look great, but if you bake yourself, don't buy there. It's expensive, way overpriced, and the pie crust looks terrific, but is heavy, and not flaky. Pie as a gastronomical art form! Everyone likes the blueberry but its the chocolate brownie style pie that is really incredible. We got two of them on a one week visit.
I took a nostalgic visit to Pie in the Sky. I had loved their baked goods years ago. OMG - $38 for a pie! It's a good pie, not a great pie. $3.50 for an awful and I mean awful blueberry muffin. I see that they are closing the shop in November. Probably a good idea.
Located on Route One I stopped for pie to take to a dinner party that we had been invited to. Although the pies were large, the prices totally shocked me. UNBELIEVABLE!!!! I left without a pie wondering if a pie could be that good to warrant the price. Our own baked blueberry pie received raves at dinner. It was good... 更多
Had just an okay experience here at best. Coffee was meh. The blueberry pie wasn't that great. Lemon pie was just ok and the muffin wasn't that great. Felt a bit cheated honestly. The price was very high so I figured that the quality was gonna be great, but it wasn't so good in all honesty.
Love all their pies. Just entering the shop makes you want to buy everything! Definitely one of best pies you will ever eat, but pricey.
