I had the Bosnian salad and my wife had the grilled chicken sandwich for lunch. They were great. Service was prompt and friendly. We will return.
Very busy evening, & service was somewhat slow. We found out later that one server had taken the evening off. Food was OK, but if I return to Bardstown, I probably would not return. Took close to an hour (50 - 55 minutes) to get our food & it even took about 40 minutes to get my appetizer, shrimp cocktail.
Owner waited on us. Could not get order straight. Ordered unsweetened iced tea which took 20 min to receive and was brought sweet tea. Only 2 other tables were seated. We went in for dinner and had a great time, Mira was very nice to us and we must have talked with her for an hour or so. I ordered the goulash with beef and it tasted great, I will definitely stop there again when I'm in town!
Popped in for a quick lunch; wanted something light after a day on the Bourbon Trail and more planned. Opted for the Greek Salad and had grilled chicken added. Well-made. The server was extremely friendly; she had immigrated from Bosnia 20 years prior. Large restaurant - will be back.
This restaurant is actually in the old theatre and houses a nice size collection of art (very interesting story of how it got there, you should ask). The food is wonderful! Linen table clothes and glass but you are still comfortable in jeans. The Kreso's Chicken dish is to die for! OMG!
