Ate here twice during the Bourbon Festival. Both were disappointments. The food was not the best and the service was poor both times.
We were in Bardstown for Bourbon Festival. Raining so we decided to find something to eat. I saw on a Burger Poll that Mammy's had one of the best burgers in the state. We stopped and yes was crowded but raining like crazy and U OF L football on TV..waited about 20 minutes and was seated. Waiter said the special... 更多
While in Bardstown for the Bourbon festival, we got tired of walking in the rain. We found Mammy's with just about everyone else in town. There was about a 60 min wait. They took our name and we left, shopped. We arrived a little too soon, so we went to the bar and tried to order cocktails. The bartender seemed... 更多
My wife and I visited Mammy's for a Hot Brown and Roast Beef wile visiting Bardstown in July 2016. Both were absolutely AMAZING! Many thanks for a great visit.
I ate at this location just after 20+ people got off a bus. Even though the large number, the atmosphere was very comfortable. It seemed to me that they specialized in comfort food. I dad the soup of the day and and a BLT sandwich. My wife enjoyed the daily special. No alcohol. Prices were reasonable. Unfortunately, I didn't save... 更多
We arrived in Bardstown just in time for the Bourbon Festival. We had never heard of it so it wasn't planned but I think about 50,000 people have heard of it. Our hotel manager suggested Mammy's Kitchen. It is a rustic fun place in what was an old stable. The menu consisted of salads, burgers, sandwiches, and some dinner items... 更多
My husband and I travel a great deal and eat out a lot. One thing we have always found to be something to be counted on is the local diners in any small town. We picked Mammy's thinking, "home cooking" and hang with the locals. Once we were seated it was several minutes before anyone came to our table. We... 更多
I love this place! The food is great and so is the staff. It's clean and has a country style atmosphere. A great place to eat with friends or family. The pies are amazing! By all means check it out if you're in the Bardstown area.
Best time to get there for dinner is between 4 to 530pm E. S. T. Otherwise you'll be waiting for awhile, that's how good it is. FYI ~ you must order pie !!! Mammys has the best!!! With a very smooth, sweet taste and meringue !! The pies aren't overly rich and don't set heavy in your stomach, like other... 更多
The server/bartender mentioned to another couple that had asked that this building had been around since 1787-before Kentucky became a state. How cool is that? Plus the food is pretty good. I usually shy away from places called Mammy's or Grandma's because generally they are not very good. This was the exception. I had the special which consisted of fried... 更多
