Underrated! Great food. Except for the bahn mi sandwich which kind of sucked. Everything else is awesome! Just don't mind the poor service. He's an old Vietnamese guy living in America, what do you expect?
Da Kao is the best! If you don't think you can eat from a different culture I would challenge you to go to Da Kao, order the chicken noodle soup (I think it is #9) and some shrimp, an order of fresh spring rolls, and a lemonade and you will be hooked. The chinese is even good here but why... 更多
This has been my go-to Vietnamese restaurant for years. I grew up eating Vietnamese food at my best friends house my entire childhood. But, lately, whoa! It is 50/50, whether you get good food or not. I have hoped that this was not a trend, but over the last year, the poor quality has remained. Tonight I ordered the Pho,... 更多
This is my favorite Vietnamese Restaurant in town, but it is the only Vietnamese Restaurant in the whole Sioux City area, but I am glad it is pretty decent food but service could be somewhat better, depending on whom you get for waiter. Nice that they have Chinese and Vietnamese food choices. Have had both. The pho is good. Also shrimp fried rice is popular with my teens. If late on Friday or Saturday might find yourself giving away left overs to hungry souls in neighborhood if so inclined.
This is not a fancy high class dining experience, but the service is fast and the food is very good. If you have never eaten Pho, a hearty Vietnamese soup, give it a try. It is a complete meal and once you have tried it, you will be addicted to it.
I recently visited Sioux City with my family and was referred here by locals for good Chinese/Vietnamese food. We got take out. The shorter waitress that helped us had the worst attitude. For that alone, I wouldn't come back. The younger waitress was definitely nicer. We ordered banh xeo, bun bo hue and spring rolls. The spring rolls were burnt.... 更多
Stopped here on our cross-country trek because I like Vietnamese food, and it's in short supply in Iowa. This place is legit: the pho is amazing and the vermicelli bowls are great. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy!! I was thrilled (and if kept me full all the way across South Dakota).
