The food is always so good here. I just wish that they would go back to real silverware. Plastic just doesn't cut it, literally!
Off the beaten path. Local, one of a kind places. Anything, but another chain. If you're not a local, you'd best rely on your GPS, because yeah. Middle of nowhere. Charming former townsite of Oakland Mills. Old iron pedestrian bridge. Outdoor seating. Kitschy decor. A few old black and white photos of the former storefront, turned burger dive. Up a... 更多
I had the pork tenderloin sandwich, which was really not that great. My husband had a hamburger which he thought good. The staff was nice, but the service was pretty slow. The place was also very crowded, and it's not the most comfortable place due to the way it's cobbled together. It's really the only place in the area, so... 更多
Our family loves eating here! Everything we have ever tried, we have liked. There is a good variety of food on the menu like tenderloins, burgers, salads, and pie for dessert. Although, we are usually too full to have dessert. The atmosphere is like visiting a cozy cabin. We enjoy eating out on the patio when the weather is good,... 更多
We were driving through Iowa, and I needed my tenderloin fix. They are rarely found in the south, and when they are, they are pretty greasy and awful. So I was looking at a blog about the 10 best tenderloins in Iowa. It listed the winners of a state-wide contest fir the past 10 years. River Rock Cafe won in... 更多
If you're in the Mount Pleasant area this is definitely worth stopping for. It's a very small restaurant filled with eclectic knick-knacks. There's a patio with a view of the river. The menu is very entertaining with many unusual combinations for burgers and tenderloins as well as a few other sandwiches. There may have been entrees but I couldn't get... 更多
RRC is a unique, micro restaurant on the banks of the Skunk River in SE Iowa. Fun menu includes their famous pork tenderloin and variations. Really pretty outdoor seating areas surrounds the place. They don't have a liquor license, so bring your own. Food quality is about average, but the setting is the real attraction. Good prices.
Down by the river, hole in the wall. These are the best places to eat. The tenderloin was great and huge. Should have split. Crab sandwich was delicious. Small indoor, but plenty of patio in front and back. No alcohol, but you can BYOB! A local favorite.
