First time visit and it was delicious. The sticky wings were sweet and savory. Good portion sides. I would definitely visit again
We enjoyEd the food here. The appetizer wings were delicious. The pho was good as well. My meal with steak was cooked very well. One drawback is that the service was slow. It didn't bother us particularly but I could see how it could be a problem.
I ordered vegetarian fried rice as I don't eat meat at all, and 15 minutes later the order arrived, I was half way into my fried rice and I find a piece of meat in it, I have never had meat in my life and was disgusted to see the meat, I called upon the manager (some Asian old guy)... 更多
Really loved this charming restaurant, only, being a vegetarian, am a bit disappointed they don't have much on their menu for us veggies. Also, service staff a bit inattentive, but very nice. Whatever I did have though was extremely good and fresh.
We went on a Sunday night, and the restaurant was fairly busy. The service was pleasant but excruciatingly slow, so not a great choice if you are really hungry. The food was good.
Watched Chicago's Best and they were voted #1 in Naperville. Of course made us very curious and made sure to try it! The price is reasonable. The basil fried rice with pork, mint, pineapple with shrimp is just awesome! The calamari has a unique taste, the wrap with shrimp and peanut sauce is something that I will definitely come back!... 更多
The best and only pho place in Naperville. The restaurant is located in a house off of Jefferson St. It's very clean. They can accommodate big parties. I been there about 7 times and they are always busy. Which is great!!! The pho broth is so soothing. You don't have to add anything but your usual fixing such as basil,... 更多
Went both with friends and by myself - once when it was extremely busy and once when it was pretty slow. Got our food quickly both times. Highly recommend the bahn mi. The octopus appetizer was a bit tough, but flavored really well - I would whole-heartedly recommend it. It made my heart happy to see Vietnamese food in this... 更多
Full disclosure: my father used to work with the owner of Green Basil in a past life. That is the only reason we ever found the place, otherwise as others have noted, its not exactly located in the most conspicuous place. But that is not the only reason we go. Location: Yes its hard to find, but most folks who... 更多
Green Basil is hidden inside a small building on south Jefferson tucked behind Quigley's Irish Pub. You know a restaurant serves authentic ethnic food when the restaurant was seated mainly by the same ethnicity, in this case Asians. I love Pho and Green Basil provides a great big bowl of it. I'll be returning, no question about it.
