Best Mexican restaurant in town. There Barbacoa is the best I've ever had. The guacamole is made fresh while you wait.
Traveling through Effingham we checked for restaurants with top reviews and discovered this taqueria. It's less than a mile off the freeway, easy access from the exit road. As a mole fan I had to try their chicken mole dinner - $10.99. The mole had great flavor - sweeter than typical Oaxacan moles, as the family is from Guerrero, Mexico.... 更多
We were looking for an affordable place to eat while we were trying to find a place to stay for the night, and Yelp seemed to point us in the direction. We were surprised at the amount of meat options - generally Mexican places give you the shredded beef/ground beef/chicken option, but we could have selected from eight different options.... 更多
When we eat out on the road, we make every effort to avoid chain restaurants and seek out owner run/managed places. Best place to eat Mexican in Effingham. Fresh and good flavor! I can't believe we have never ate here until now. We will be recommending this restaurant to our family and friends.

We ordered steak fajitas and chicken fajitas. The steak and veggies was swimming in grease and had no taste. The chicken wasn't as bad, but it still was very bland. My... 更多
The restaurant is clean but definitely lacking in ambience. The pico de gallo and salsa both were lacking in the taste department. Never heard of putting vinegar in pico. Everything was lacking in salt. However we had delicious carnitas and tasty, fresh flour tortillas. Menu looked interesting and perhaps if I hadn't tried to eat the pico or salsa I... 更多
