Met the in laws for dinner and had the rigatoni with sausage . Great advice and the owners are friendly as well
Via Roma is a small place in downtown Des Plaines - what a terrific surprise! The food is excellent, prices are very friendly, and the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. I like to go for an early dinner or late lunch to avoid waiting, but either way, it's a terrific family run place. And, BYOB with no corkage fee.... 更多
This restaurant has downright authentic Italian food. Bring your appetite because you will definitely leave full and most likely with a take home box. Staff is friendly and very attentive. They donor serve alcohol but you are welcome to bring your own favorite bottle of wine. You will not be disappointed!
We discovered this place by accident. This past Saturday, my husband, daughter and I went set out to celebrate my birthday at a different restaurant, but the wait time was too long. So, I found Via Roma and we decided to try it. I'm sooo glad we did. Great food, service and prices. I had the salmon special; salmon in... 更多

Fantastic Italian restaurant. Husband an I are here 2-3 a month. Everything is amazing. Some of our favorites are the involtini Romano, fettuccine Bolognese, tortellini, and burratta appetizer. Staff is very friendly. Some nights you may have to wait awhile for a table (very small place), but it's totally worth it!
I was looking for a local restaurant to take my sister-in-law who was visiting from out of town. I didn't want to take her to a chain restaurant. I chose Via Roma. It was a beautiful summer evening and there was seating available on the patio. We brought a bottle of wine and dined al fresco. The food was delicious,... 更多
