Good, not great. I had the Chirashi, which I always get at Japanese restaurants. Decent sushi but not a lot of variety or any sides that typically come with this dish. Again it was good but not great for the price.
Indie is a perfect Thai and Japanese restaurant. I love Drunken noodles, Pad See-Ew, and sushi, the Emperor combination, fresh and reasonable price as always, plus nice atmosphere. Indie is a warm and relax restaurant. We will come back again.
I mean this place was 4/5 across the board, kinda funny. Modern nice place inside - we went on a friday night only had to wait 10 minutes for a table. They have lots of different kinds of asian food - we all went with Thai and it was good not great. Pricing is very reasonable. I would go again
We keep coming back to Indie Cafe because they always do a wonderful job. No matter what we have ordered, the food is fresh, prepared to order, delicious and beautifully displayed every time. The staff is helpful, charming and attentive. The atmosphere is casual and relaxing. It's a great value, everything considered...our go-to place for Thai!
A very good friend of ours lives in this neighborhood. When we were visiting Chicago, she suggested we walk from her place to Indie for dinner. The menu is extensive:everything from sushi to pad thai and everything in between. The only negative was having to choose from so many wonderful sounding dishes. The coconut soup is fabulous! Everything we ordered... 更多
We especially liked their robata-grilled pork, beef, and eggplant. Get the pad kee mao (aka drunken noodles) crispy--it's yummy. Standards like pad thai and massamun curry are also excellent.
