I had the best homemade sangria ever at this restaurant and the food is delicious as well. My friend enjoys the white fish and the side order of spinach. The restaurant is small and cozy with white tablecloth.
This place is a regular for me, as I love to visit there several times a year. All of their food, no matter what you select, is to die for! For instance, try their from-scratch minestrone, sauteed spinach, stuffed mushrooms, or any of their pasta dishes with or without meat, chicken or fish are just outstanding. Their house Chianti is... 更多
For several years my wife and I have celebrated Valentine's Day at Bruna's, which is across the street from Bacchanalia in the Heart of Chicago neighborhood, and also outstanding. This year we decided to change things up and try Bacchanalia. We were hoping for just as good but different, and we certainly weren't disappointed. Dinning out can be a little... 更多
Had dinner here recently and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The service was efficient and friendly and the food was fantastic! I had veal and my daughter had gnocchi. Both dishes were wonderful. My daughter said "umm" so many times during her meal I was teasing her about it! The house wine is good, too. We were only in Chicago for... 更多
I asked a business associate for dining recommendations in Chicago about 17 years ago and Bacchanalia was one of the first places he mentioned. This year I finally got to go and the food was amazing. I didn't have a reservation but was seated immediately with my daughters 14 and 18. We got the last table in the dining room... 更多
I've lived in Chicago for 24 years and have eaten at a number of Italian restaurants. This may be the best one, it's small, not in downtown, reasonable prices, and amazing food. Never had anything bad and I've almost had the entire menu. If you live here or are just visiting, you gotta make the trip down.
Long drive from the Western Suburbs but well worth it. Had dinner before a Hawks game. Lasagna was excellent. Wish we knew that the bone-in Chicken Vesuivo took 45 minutes because we would have placed our order immediately.
It's been many years since our frequent visits, but the place has not changed. Food..excellent as was service. We found parking close by, it was seat yourself. Chicken alfredo and the chicken soup was flavorful chicken breast parmasion was soooo good. Prices good. Caution: NO CREDIT CARDS. The decor, ambiance was romantic. Luv this place!
We used to eat at Bruna's for many years; food's OK but expensive and wine list overpriced. Great old atmosphere. Ignotz: better food. We've been over to Il Vicinato and again, pretty good food in a nice atmosphere. But for my money we will be going back to Bacchanalia from now on. Dined there with the family last weekend and... 更多
I'm Chicago-born and bred and never knew that wonderful Italian restaurants are located in the Pilsen area, known for its Hispanic culture. Our friend remembered that this restaurant was a winner. She was right; the meal was extraordinary. The flavors were remarkably fresh. The portions were generous and there was plenty for us to share. Everything that we ordered was... 更多
