I came here on my own in my 2nd night in Chicago and was blown away at how good it was, the chorizo and dates was an amazing combination.. I came back 2 weeks later with my wife and again it did not dissapoint, don't leave Chicago without coming here..
Ate with my colleagues on a Sunday night at 8pm. They don't take reservations, which we knew, but the wait was only about 15 minutes. Communal tables, very noisy. This restaurant is unique - not only in the appearance but with their menu's too. Its kind of social eating experience in long narrow place. Their fish items were delicious and a must try!

walked in on sunday @ 9 and grabbed a seat at the bar. service was great, special was seared sepia (cuttle fish) with lots of fresh veggies, herbs, and nice spice edge. really great flavour. Started with a asperagus/radish/beet tambuleh which was also bright and balanced. Paired with bartender's recommendation of verdejo. Service was well-paced and attentive, nice bustling vibe,... 更多

Hands-down, those two dishes were one of the best bites I have had in Chicago in a long time. The ricotta in the focaccia was just the right amount of flavor to balance out the herbs seasoned on the breading.... 更多
Some very nice dishes - my favorites were the chorizo stuffed medjool dates and the charred octopus - and we had a great bottle of ribera del Duero. Be prepared, though, if you are sitting on the end of the bench with your back to the wall, to get up several times to let the strangers who get seated next... 更多
