Excellent dish and great service. We have been customers for years and although there are many Mexican restaurants we keep coming back.
Tres used to be one of our regularly visited spots for dinner and as a watering hole but I have been completely unimpressed after returning to the area. I don't think the food was ever really a strong suit but the atmosphere helped. At this point I don't think the atmosphere or the food is worth the visit. Hopefully they... 更多
Upon the request of my girlfriend for daydrinking, she suggested this place had the strongest margaritas in town. Since I'm not a local, I took her recommendation. And to my surprise, the Tuesday special is $2 mystery beer. The bartender decides what to give you. I was brought an assortment of old monk, Belgian blondes, Kona brew, and even a... 更多

Service was slow (reason for cold food?) even though they were not busy or short staffed. And although we had 6 at the table, we were... 更多
This iconic Carbondale restaurant must have undergone new management in the last year or so. Worst Mexican food we have ever had. Food looked awful, tasted awful, wait staff was not familiar with the menu or the food. The building is a dump. I graduated from SIUC in 2001 and loved the place but I will never go back. The food is offensive.
Tres Hombres is a family-friendly place. It is excellent for when you have parties!! I highly recommend it because it has great service and excellent food.
Great food, service progressively worse. Servers never should have a table of their own! Seriously addictive Margaritas! We have been loyal clients since the early 80's.
