Eat indoors outdoors or at the bar. Large menu and everything I've tried was good. Plenty of beer options too.
Went with a work group of 7. Food was not very good. Burger lacked flavor. Server was not engaged to refill drinks and had to flag down.
Not a fancy restaurant, the name says it all, it's a grill & sports bar. Located across the parking lot from the Barrington Metra station, the Wool Street Grill & Sports Bar is a good place to stop after you get off the train from work. Not horrible- but not a great experience here. First waited a long time for server to come to table- then took a super long time to get drinks. Decent food. And it wasn't even busy
Wool street has wonderful chili served in a taco shell. Hamburgers are also good There is a separate bar area. The "family" area has plenty of televisions to keep track of current sports, but not unusually loud. Service has always been friendly and efficient.
Server was superficial and borderline rude. Drink order was inaccurate. Food order was inaccurate. I was not impressed and will not return for years. Tavern/restaurant was good in previous visits, but has slipped several notches. Choose another eatery.

The food here is good, and they are usually pretty accommodating if you walk in with a bunch of sweaty boys post-game. They get a little overwhelmed during Chicago playoff season (i.e. Blackhawks, Bulls, etc.), especially in the bar area, but we have generally had a good experience here.
