If you were a boater on Tampa Bay I highly recommend visiting this bar and restaurant. It's a great water front spot. Dip into the pool on Sunday. (Over 21).
I really enjoyed this place while spending a month in Tampa. I can't remember exactly why I decided to stop in for the first time, but it may have been the person sitting on the plane next to me the week before pointing out the window, describing the atmosphere. The food was good but the service was very lack luster and as we left the person at the front was peeing right in the planter in front of the entrance and he worked there!!!! On the water was nice but they obviously need better staff!
Good food and good service. And the view is one of the best in Tampa. Dining right on the waterfront - watching boats come and go into the bay. Can't beat it.
Visited with another couple and tried the grouper nuggets, conch fritters then ordered the grouper special with crab. Definitely the best I have had in a long time. Great flavor. Apps were great as well. Definitely recommend. Ambience outside was that of a beach restaurant. Eating indoors is quite loud due to acoustics.
