Soup, sandwiches, desert, a glass of wine or a beer...all inside of the Dali museum but you don't need to pay admission to enter !!
After visiting the museum we decided to stop in Cafe Gala for some refreshment. Menu reflects Dali's home country Spain with the menu items. Tapas, Spanish appetizers, wine and much more. Interesting!
We had lunch at this cafe during our visit. The sandwich we ordered, serrano ham and manchego cheese, was extremely salty for my taste. The price was too high for the portion, and if you add a drink to it, it will make a very expensive lunch.
We ate at this place while visiting the museum, and we had a great time. The location itself is nice since it allows you to view the waterfront and the cool interiors of the museum.
My favorite is the Cuban sandwich. They also offer a daily lunch special and have good chicken salad. My friends and I went for lunch one day and enjoyed sitting outside.
We needed some refreshment since the museum takes longer then we realized. The food was reasonable and very good. The staff were very pleasant. We shared a wrap and it was just enough and very tasty. As you sit in the restaurant you have a lovely view outside. It is self service, and the line you wait in took too... 更多
What a perfect little café for a light lunch before my visit to the Dali museum. I was alone but felt totally comfortable sitting at the bar height stools at the perimeter of the airy café. I enjoyed a salad with fresh figs and a lovely cheese with pears over arugula. Light dressing just perfect for me. I felt refreshed... 更多
This cafe serves Spanish style foods which makes sense as it is in the Dali museum. Dali was Spanish. My wife is from Puerto Rico and lived in Spain for five years so is quite familiar with this style. The servings here are true to form and well executed. The soups in particular were excellent. Recommended.
I got the "Break Bread with Dali" plate and my husband got the Tomato soup and cheese plate. I loved my dish, and the olives were unlike any I've other had - they had a fresher(?) taste. The tomato soup is served cold, an unexpected gazpacho rather than the tomato soup we were expecting. Would recommend the food though.
