We always enjoy our visits to Cafe Zuppina. Great food & excellent service. Small but cozy. Moderate noise level.
Trust me, you WILL eat your brussels sprouts! and eggplant, and feta rolls, and anything else you are lucky enought to order from Berna's wonderful menu! We have never had anything we didn't love after 4 years of eating several times a month at Zuppina. Organic whenever possible, everthing made from scratch, and can accomodate many dietary restrictions. The vegetables,... 更多
Just had the most delicious brisket with brussels sprouts that are by far the best I have ever eaten! The carrot salad, rice, eggplant, asparagus all combine to make this the plate I dream about when thinking of Turkish food! It cannot be equaled; it is the finest! Birna and her husband are the most gracious hosts and you feel... 更多
The restaurant is tiny, but the food packs a big punch! The feta rolls and house-made humus was great starters to my Romanian brisket meal. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! The vegetable plate my mom got was awesome as well. Definitely suggest the Turkish coffee if you are into a strong brew!
Cafe Zuppina is a delightful Turkish home cooking restaurant in Polk County. The food quality of Cafe Zuppina is good and it has no competition really for its culture and style in Polk County. If you have ever been to a more metro area or overseas this food would be considered average or good but for our area it is... 更多
It was our first visit to the Turkish cafe. It's quite small (8 tables) and can be a little noisy but the service and food was very good. I had the Romanian beef brisket which was very flavorful. We all loved the Brussel sprout vegetable medley. It was beyond our expectations, even for sprout haters. The shredded carrot salad was... 更多
I'm pretty sure only about 30 people can for in this restaurant at one time but please try to go. The food is wonderful and I felt more like I was in Turkey or Greece in someone's home. The food was so good and light! A great change from the usual.
I'm not a lamb eater, but tried a chicken dish that was absolutely delicious. The rice was cooked to perfection, the vegetables were just right. I could not resist dessert and a tiny cup of their specialty coffee. The restaurant is small and easy to pass by in the busy street, but it is definitely worth a u turn. I... 更多
It may be small, but it's mighty. Cafe Zuppina has a wonderfully diverse menu with lamb, salmon, hummus and vegatable platters seasoned uniquely. The owner is the cook and usually comes out to say hello to the diners. Make reservations though, because it is so small, seating is limited and it fills up quickly.
Café Zuppina is hidden treasure for dining in Lakeland. Lunch or dinner is memorable experience. In looking at the menu most people would thin it is Greek restaurant. However, the proprietor will proudly proclaim that it a Turkish restaurant. My favorite item on the menu is the Brussel spouts. Yes Brussel spouts! Don't take my word for it you must... 更多
