Great food! Great atmosphere! We went for the oysters and they were the best I have ever had! The wait was supposed to be 40 minutes, but the owner was amazing and got us seated within 15 minutes and bought us a round of drinks! Can't wait to go back!
We were looking for a local restaurant with seafood. The hotel recommended Southport saying it was not fancy but the food was local and very good. We tried the conch chowder and they served it with a shot of Sherry and it was wow! The dolphin was really mahi flash frozen that was prepared to perfection. It was served with... 更多
I don't think I would recomend the Southport Raw Bar. Lovely setting right on the water with a nice cool breeze. We sat outside because it was actually quieter than inside and we wanted to catch up on things with my brother.. The food was not too good. I had fish & chips and honeslty the pub we go to... 更多
We visited this site on April 13, 2015. We loved it. The location has a workingman's feel to it with the clientele being not only tourists but the locals also. It has a comfortable fun feel to it and the outside patio view is so pleasing to the eye. They also have a selection of apparel that appeals to the... 更多
It was not a good experience going there beside thinking to eat oysters but my friends were very despointed with Their food .. and the place need to be fix up a little be for where they are located.
A great place for meeting friends of great food, drinks and casual dining. the Parmesan Oysters are to die for. All the food was good, drinks in regular supply and a very helpful waitress that looked after us very well. Waterside dining with a great view so would recommend eating outside. Our friends arrived by dinghy to the dinghy dock... 更多
Southport raw bar is a local landmark. The owner buddy sherman watches and delivers a truly local experience . A bit of jimmy buffet, key west and totally fort lauderdale. Hope to be back for the next 30 years. martin z.
Been a fan for 10+ years. Yes it's crowded, yes it's noisy, yes it's not the most pristine "joint" in Ft Lauderdale, if your looking for fancy..this isn't your spot.. but it is consistently good. It has to be good or else it wouldn't be busy and noisy. Give it a try. Best to arrive by 6pm if you want... 更多
Had late lunch there today. Two of us enjoyed mussels, others cracked conch and fish&chips. It was a lovely afternoon on the deck, and would recommend that seating as long as the sun isn't too unbearable. Wait staff was very friendly and with excellent service. This appears to be more of a local haunt, as patrons seemed to be frequent... 更多
The food is great! We tried a little bit of everything, oysters, baked clams, shrimp and it was all delicious. Very laid back environment and the staff is nice. It gets crowded and parking is limited, but worth it. I will go back for sure.
We were a table of four with fisheaters and non-fisheaters. Everything ordered was delicious. The old Bay shrimp, my son said was awesome and the fisheaters loved loved loved the oysters and their size. (My hamburger was good too.) We felt everything was very fairly priced. We walked in the front door and straight to the back and gave our... 更多
The Old Bay shrimp are awesome, and the oysters on the half shell as well as the steamers: an extreamely busy place to go to in the evenings. The layout is basic but the service is efficient.
When we go to FL we like to eat fresh seafood. We had oysters on the half shell and grouper. Not the best but certainly not the worst either. The place was packed. If you want the outside dining you better come early or make reservations. Parking is very limited we were lucky and snagged a parking spot as someone... 更多
