A close imitation of a NY bagel. 8 bagels, 3 Cream Cheese spreads, $38.00, ouch. Very busy place on Sunday Morning. The only other choice is Bruggers or the supermarket.
Only go here for Bagels, cream cheese, and coffee.. all three are excellent! Service is great and there are ice tea beverages and drinks in the cooler. Not the freshest food around, the eggs are not fried in an egg and cheese sandwich, rather a pre-scrambled mix cooked in a form and low grade cheese... to give you an idea... 更多
There are a lot of bagel choices. You bag your own, then pay. It is located in a small strip mall just east of Hammenasett State Park on ct Route #1.
Excellent bagels! I grew up eating fresh Lenders on Sunday mornings and Cohen's is the only place I've tried that came close to that fresh goodness! Will return when I'm in the area again.
The bagels "look" and smell good and the options are plenty but unfortunately they do not match the great bagels of old NYC that were crisp and crunchy on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. If you need a bagel.. this place will suffice but you will still yearn for better quality...
This place has the best bagels in the area. It is right near Hammonasett beach, however so on weekends during the summer you better get there early for a good selection.
I am there at least once a week getting an assortment of bagels. My favorite (cheddar), my wife loves everything and my kids adore the cinnamon sugar. The help is nice and efficient and the prices, which recently increased slightly are reasonable. If you are doing cream cheese-I am a big fan of the Walnut raisin.
I love any of the bagels but the one with the bacon is my new favourite. I wish they were nearer than Madison, as when I get there they are invariably closed! I have to go earlier and get any of there fresh bagels. Come closer to the Shoreline!
