You will love this place. Great German food. Nice ambiance. Schnitzel and spätzle to die for. Nice buffet also on some nights.
I would like to review the food here, but we never even got to sit down! My husband and I had heard good things about this place, so last Saturday afternoon at 1:00pm my husband called to make a reservation, but was told that they did not take reservations for fewer than 6 or 8 people. He then asked if... 更多
We lived in Germany for four years so I wanted to see how authentic this restaurant is. I was disappointed that there wasn't any spundekäse (cheese spread). Pretzel was good. And they had apfelschorle (bubbly apple juice). And I had the schweinshaxe (pork knuckle); it is a big meal so be prepared to take home a doggy bag. Spätzle was... 更多
It had been a while since our last visit which was just OK so we thought we would try it again. The staff is very professional yet friendly. Sadly the meal did not match the enthusiasm of the staff. My husband love german food. We went Old Heidelberg for lunch. A little charm place. The food was ok for me,so so, not forgetful. But it was very pricy, A glass of beer cost $10 was too much. Lunch for 4, cost us $200 and more. I don’t want to eat second time for this food.
All I can say is from the time we walked in, till the time we left, everything was as good as you can possibly expect, a restaurant experience to be. The owner, Alex and his staff are first rate. We found a new spot, and we'll be going there at least twice a month.
My husband and I have been going here for several years. His mother in law from his first marriage was German. The woman next door to me growing up was German so we consider ourselves knowledgeable. This place has gone downhill. We understand the place was sold to a non German and the chef was trained by the one before... 更多
