A special place with good food and a great setting. Kids will like the sled dogs (if there is daylight). Otherwise they will certainly hear them!
Booked a secured a reservation for 2 couples to celebrate Valentine's Day. The restaurant unilaterally cancelled the reservation on the day citing "we could. It reach you on your cell" and left no message - in 2017 ? Seriously ?? Sloppy management - one can only guess what happens in the kitchen...
I had been disappointed the last few times here, but this recent visit was excellent. There service was more attentive and the game was more tasty than in the past. Our group especially like the Elk Loin and the Grilled Rack of Colorado Lamb.
We've eaten at Krabloonik's for many years and continue to enjoy the somewhat primitive log cabin in the woods atmosphere. The food has always been exceptional but this year there were fewer wild game entrees, but the elk, lamp, and boar were terrific. The wild mushroom soup is superior. We've also had chocolate mousse for dessert for many years but... 更多
On our last night we wanted to treat ourselves, but we also wanted something low-key. Dinner here was THE BEST way to end a fabulous vacation. Beautiful place, cozy. Hearing the dogs bark as you approach the restaurant on wooden steps in the snow is unforgettable. Elk loin was SO delicious - you have to try it. It's going to... 更多
My mom and I had Luke as our tour guide and it was splendid! Great conversations and he really informed us about the dogs and company! Great spot plus I send all of our visitors here! Oh and Katy at the restaurant was perfect !
We had lunch here recently after the dog sledding experience. The food was amazing. The mushroom soup was probably the best we've ever had anywhere. The baked brie with pears and the kobe sliders were great also. The elk tenderloin with veggies and garlic potatoes was excellent. Service was great and atmosphere was pleasant. Can't recommend this place enough. We... 更多
Krabloonik is such a unique place in Snowmass Village. Where else can you visit with real sled dogs, cuddle the new husky puppies, take a sled ride into Winter Wonderland and return for a wonderful meal in a cabin heated by an old fashioned wood stove and lit with gas lamps? Aside from the beauty and warmth of the setting,... 更多
While the restaurant was closed, my family and I took great joy in visiting and seeing all of these remarkable animals. They are so well taken care of, and one of the owners, Danny Phillips, took the time to personally walk us around the enclosures and talk to us in detail about why they run certain things the way they... 更多
