Over the course of 20 years, i have probably eaten here 150 times and have never been disappointed. Simply sensational Vietnamese food.
We went vegetarian for dinner and found some delights: stuffed tofu, spring rolls and a dish with rice "tortillas" filled with veggies and tofu bits -- yum! Dessert: red bean paste balls covered with sesame seeds -- a treat that's not too sweet. Remember to rub the Buddha's belly in the lobby for good luck, or just bow slightly in... 更多
Chez Thuy is an ok place with asiatic atmosphere. We were sitting in sofas, and I must admit it could have been more comfortable. However, one can also be seated in "normal chairs" - need to know. The service was a bit slow and just friendly. The food was somehow ordinary, but ok. Have been here a couple of times... 更多
We were in Boulder again first week of June 2016 we wanted to try something different so a friend picked CHEZ THUY there was about 12 of us there was so much food the portions are very large and the food was great, the staff was very clean and friendly
As Australians we are spoilt with Asian foods, so looked forward to trying this restaurant. The menu is extensive with lots of choices. We chose 4 dishes. The food was good, the service not so. We always find in USA Asian food heat is turned down to suit the American palate. Thankfully there was a jar of chopped chilli on... 更多
I was a Regular and my favorite was the " Special Rice Noodle Bowl ". Now they just call it the " Rice Noodle Salad ". It comes with a bunch of Rice Noodles, some Lettuce, 4 Medium Shrimp and INEDIBLE Pork with l;ots of fat and gristle. ( I left the Pork on my plate!) When asked by Waitress... 更多
It says its a Vietnamese restaurant, but it's similar to Chinese and Thai,, makes sense i guess I have driven by a thousand times, and went in twice recently. I was quite surprised by the quality and taste of the food. My recent visit, i had Chicken Kung Pou , i think that's right, and it was outstanding in taste... 更多
This is also a favorite restaurant. They are quick in getting your food to you and you have lots of foods to choose from. The food is delicious and I have never been disappointed with my choice.
The menu covers many Asian cuisines including Vietnamese, Chinese and Thai. The Pho was excellent with tasty broth and the usual extensive accompaniments. A stir fry of noodles and seafood had many unusual tastes including peanuts and lemon grass. The servings were larger than at many similar restaurants. Service was typical of Chinese restaurants. Prices were reasonable.
I have eaten here many times in the past 15 years. I have never experienced anything approaching "incredible cuisine" at Chez Thuy. There is just nothing special about the food. It's clean, it tastes OK. I think this is somewhat Americanized Vietnamese food. I would not order any of the Thai dishes again. The servers are kind of unfriendly but... 更多
