We loved the food here its very good , the mint chutney , NaaN ,Dal Makhni . They have vegie option too which is good.
Tandoori chicken is to die for ! If you miss the roadside tandoori chicken from India ,this is the place to be in the bay area . Go for the breast piece ,leg piece has got quite less(half) flesh compared to the breast piece. The main course was a downer though.
Its a good place for authentic tandoor dishes and Biriyani. Really loved the food. Not fine dinning place, but kept neat and clean. Stays open pretty late on weekends.
Food, mediocre at best. Worse, final prices charged are ALWAYS higher than those on menu! Management then argues that "prices were revised" and will produce one menu that does depict revised prices. But only one menu -- that is not within access to unsuspecting customers! Also, bathroom waters overflow into dining area, and if complained, management retorts "Whats big deal... 更多
Shah is not a fancy place; it looks more like a food court than a restaurant, but it is kept clean. Depending on what you order, you may or may not need to include a plate with the utensils you bring to your table -- some dishes are served expecting you to have an empty plate waiting. We are dine in or take out from Shah for last 4 years, the same test, always. The owner is very nice. For take out, always in time. Also, you can place order online, no need to call. Simply the best!
One of the good things about this restaurant is that it is open beyond 11PM. Visited this place when we were looking for a place to have dinner after we finished a 8pm movie. They serve Indian and Pakistan dishes. But tried the plain naan, garlic naan, paneer masala and veg biriyani. Taste was good and the price is reasonable.... 更多
Food always tastes good. It is not a great place to sit and eat so I always prefer to call them on phone and pickup the order. Biryani is not very spicy, I prefer more spicy. Chicken Tandoori is my all time favorite. Baklawa usually tastes good.
Great Indian food for a decent price though the preparation leaves much to be desired from a healthy eating perspective since the dishes are overloaded with oil. Since they can vary the spiciness to suit the palate, it's a good place to be introduced to Indian food.
We have been patronizing Shah Restaurant for several years and usually get the different types of kabab rolls. They also serve a variety of meat curries, breads, such as roties and naans, biriyani, tandoori chicken, a variety of kababs and mango lassi and the like. The restaurant has very basic functional amenities and not much of decor. A good place... 更多
