Loved the atmosphere of The Pelican Inn, casual and cozy and a great place to bring your dog or stop post hike or bike ride
We had a light lunch here .. Whole ambience was of a Uk pub that had got a bit left behind .. and being offered beers I can buy at home was really weird. Pelican ale went down well .. but the ploughmans was nothing like a Uk ploughmans .. not enough cheese, no pickled onion ( despite the menu... 更多
My wife and I visited San Francisco for our honeymoon and went hiking along Shoreline Parkway our first morning in town. We stopped in at the Pelican for lunch after working up an appetite on the cliffs. This was by far the best restaurant we stopped at during our entire trip! The staff and service were great, but nothing compared... 更多
Being British myself , I found my self embarrassed by the total fiasco we encountered this afternoon in this establishment . We waited 50 mins after having our name added to a waiting list for food only to then be told they had stopped serving having let unlisted guests take others reserved seats . We asked to see the manager... 更多
We stayed at the Pelican Inn and ate both dinner and breakfast there. Dinner was very good. I had the salmon and my husband had the fish and chips. Both were very good and the service was attentive but not cloying. We had the English breakfast which was good with large portions.
I had the lamb steak and my husband had beef Wellington. They were extraordinary! Amazing accompaniments with both that made the flavor shout! The service was amazing. Out of the ordinary and nestled in the woods after traveling through the winding cliff hanger roads. Don't drink too much Guinness if you are driving home!
A great little restaurant in Muir Woods! Our group of 6 shared a cheese appetizer plate (should have ordered 2) and wine before dinner. However, one turned out to be more than enough because the dinner portions were generous. 4 in our group had the lamb roast with pomegranate sauce, and it was the best lamb I have ever eaten!... 更多
We often go to the Pelican Inn after going to Muir beach. It is a quaint place that has been there for many many years. Get an afternoon tea or stay for lunch or dinner. A must stop if you are in this neck of the woods.
There were 8 of us that went to have a drink at the Pelican Inn pub last week. Charming building inside and out. The pub is small, but the other guests were accommodating of our relatively large group and we all found places to sit. The pub serves only beer and wine. There are 4-5 beers on tap. You order... 更多
We stopped in for lunch with our cycling group to this authentic looking and feeling English style pub in Muir Beach. The food was excellent. They had a huge party arrive right before we did so we just ate in the bar but it was really good. The beer was good too according to my friends. Great place to stop!
