I've been visiting for decades. The margaritas are really good and the menu is interesting. I like their original tostada which packed with veggies. Imagine beets and peas in a tostada with thousand island dressing, and it tastes great. The old school decor makes it feel as authentic as it is. The fajita's were plentiful and delicious! Our waitress was efficient and friendly. And we had a fun time drinking the margarita's!
Being from Texas we were craving Mexican food .... a friend recommended this place & hands down I approve. Another great recommendation was Don Cucos. We didn't have a chance to try it but if it's in your area it was highly recommended as well.
Incredible authentic atmosphere with plenty of seating space. Staff is very friendly and attentive. The menu has a great variety of Mexican food. When it came to the actual food, it was poorly presented, greasy and cheap-looking and tasted basic. Could improve on that to make it 5 star!
This place totally reminds me of the Mexican restaurant in Denver (Senor Pepe's) that my family always went to back in the 1970s when I was a kid.
