Solid Afgan place. Enjoyed the Manto, chicken and beef platter, and the stuffed potato breads. The accompanying bread and chutneys were very good.
As a nearby restaurant where walking is not a problem, I have enjoyed their buffet which started at $7.99 and has gone up ever since. The value is there however I watch the limited selections to enjoy protein and fresh vegetable over potato's which I call filler foods loaded with carbs and sodium. I had read about the place and expected better. The lamb shank was skimpy,dry never offered with condiments and arrived less than 5 minutes after it was ordered meaning it was on a steam table. Disappointing and really I have no sense that it will improve on another visit.
I visited this restaurant on a Saturday evening as a change to my usual haunts. Visiting on business means eating alone often, so I like to ring the changes.
