I'm sorry, the food was not up to par with what we like at all. Pretty much inedible. Even old country standards would shun this place. Sorry.

Truly a landmark restaurant and bar in Inverness on the Pt. Reyes peninsula. I've been coming here off and on since the late 70's and not a lot changes except that Vladimir has now passed on. Best time to come is in the winter when it's raining outside and the fire is warm inside. Oh and great east European food!
The service was excellent and the food was mostly good. The split peas soup, salad, and roasted duck with a plum sauce were all good. The Vienna Schnitzel was average. The red cabbage was tougher than we have had elsewhere (seemed like it was under-cooked), but that may be the proper Czech way of cooking it- I am not sure.... 更多
We had the Viener schnitzel and the rabbit. The menu features a number of Czech dishes you won't find elsewhere. The scnitzel was well well cooked but covered in Panko instead of the traditional bread crumbs;not a good substitution. The Napa rabbit was beautiful. Both came with traditional dumpling. Not much choice in the Inverness area, but no matter -- great find here!! Huge meals, all tasty Eastern European flavor! Unique and wonderful.
Food is below average, NOT authentic, portions small and overpriced. Also credit cards are not accepted. The only positive experience... 更多
