Every time I have ever eaten there the staff has been friendly and my food has been excellent. Hands down, this is my favorite place to eat.
went with the family and it was adisappointment as we got very good recomendations but the food was not as good as expected. the pizza was everage, the canaloni was less than everage. service nice but slow and in the end it was a bit expensive for what we got.
Strangers recommended this and I had never been or heard of it. Glad I have now. Excellent homemade papparadelle ragú and salad plus tiramisu that was a delight. Whole family participates, two generations contribute nightly. Very homey and welcoming. We enjoyed the hospitality and food and are certain to return.
Tiny little place on Shattuck - go early if you want the calamari starter - they only make so many each evening. Group of 4 - we all enjoyed our dinners, drinks and lovely ambience. Will go back - early - for the calamari!

We went to this local spot on Shattuck to get together with old friends. This is a great place for dinner and catching up. We had four of their specialties - all very good: Sautee scallops with pasta, Broiled Salmon with pasta, Arugula over pasta & sauce, and Pappardelle porcini. The others were good, but the pappardelle was exquisite! The... 更多
We heard about Lo Coco from a friend of Sicilian ancestry. She loves this tiny little Sicilian eatery on Shattuck in the gourmet ghetto area of Berkeley. There is street parking in the neighborhood, although you might avoid Thursday evenings when there is a farmer’s market one street over (on the other hand, you might want to combine the two... 更多
