Had 2 sharing plates both seafood both excellent friendly locals and staff would recommend over the pie place which was a huge disappointment meant to go back for a full meal but ran out of time hey ho
Cracking little restaurant set on the shores of the estuary. Food served is excellent with a reasonable choice. They also do a tapas option for those that wish to "mix and match". It us advisable to book though as all the restaurants in the area book up quite quickly.
Amazing location. Amazing food. Lovely staff. We so enjoyed our three visits to this pub whilst staying in Achmelvich. Couldn't recommend it highly enough. The food was delicious.
We popped in here over the weekend, staff where very friendly, everything was very clean. Good choice on the menu boards, we chose 3 lots of the fish to feed 4 of us from the small plate menu as we where not overly hungry- they where anything but small! Although tasty with lovely crispy batter, there was simply too much... 更多
After reading all the reviews of this I sent an email to them a month before travelling to request a table. Still waiting for a response (8 weeks ago). Managed to squeeze us in at short notice. I ordered venison small plate but was inedible due to outrageous amount of sultanas in the dish that were not even mentioned on... 更多
We ate in this pub/Restaurant twice during our stay here. Booking a table at this restaurant is advisable, nae essential. (There is a constant stream of visitors looking for a table on spec). Ask for a table overlooking the head of the Loch, you never know, you might spot an otter swimming by. The staff are very friendly and helpful.... 更多
Excellent, friendly service. Really accommodating staff and dog friendly! Small plates were ample with a portion of chips to share for our two teenage boys and us so great value for money. Very interesting and varied menu beautifully presented and delicious.
It's more of a restaurant than a pub, but it does a pretty good impersonation of a good pub. We enjoyed our meal (smoked salmon, lamb shank, etc), and there were two real ales on tap (Skye Gold and Skye Black). Definitely the place to eat in Lochinver, and the only place with real ale on tap when we visited.
I visited this restaurant after having a long day out walking around the area. We were a table of 5 and didn't book but they were more than happy to seat us, the staff were really friendly and answered all our questions about the area and roads. Found this very helpful. The food was excellent with a wide range of... 更多
