This was my second time here and still very good. We had great friendly service and very flexible with ordering sides, etc. The ambiance is very private and relaxing. We were just looking for sandwiches and had an excellent burger. The menu is very diverse with sandwiches and entrees even in the evening. We did not think their prices were... 更多
ate here twice in a week. first time had fish, green beans, rice. All cooked properly. second time had the roast beef - ordered rare and showed up the same way. wine selection by the glass and bottle was good. Had many of the usual mediocre offerings as found on most menus but also additional ones from various countries which... 更多
We met friends at the Village Tavern for cocktails and a very late lunch on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. The atmosphere was very comfortable and the menu offered something for everyone. Each of us had something different and each of us were very happy with our selection. My husband loved the Ahi Tuna (he reluctantly shared a bite with... 更多
Very disappointed. Went there after reading good reviews about this place. Upon arriving the hostess and the waitress were both half hearted at their jobs and the waitresses suggestions seem to be coming from a brochure and not from her own experiences. The waitress asked if I had been there before then suggested the blackened chicken but because the good... 更多
Stopped by here for dinner. It's only a 5-minute walk from Gainey Suites Hotel. Very convenient! Overall, a nice place. Seems to be a popular hang-out. Attractive interior and bar area. There is also outside seating. We had the Thai Chicken Salad, which was very good, and a Caesar - also good. I had a corned beef Rueben Sandwich. It... 更多
Not many beers on tap. One IPA, One Scottish Ale, One Pale Ale, Guinness, then the obligatory light beers and popular (read boring) beers, oh, along with Stella which I consider a pretty good popular beer. Started out with the homemade potato chips. The chips themselves are pretty good but when you dip them in the Ranch dipping sauce... OMG...... 更多
We visited the Village Tavern while in Scottsdale on spring break. It is a large restaurant with a good atmosphere and many menu options at reasonable prices. All of us enjoyed our dinner there, so much so that we returned again during our visit. Both times we experienced very good service. This place gets busy so would recommend making reservations... 更多
The pimento cheese BLT was even better the day after. This is one exceptional sandwich! If it is not prohibited by some regulation, I would recommend making the Pimento Cheese mix the day before and allow the flavors to really come together. It was very tasty on day one and became outstanding as a leftover last night on day two.... 更多
Have visited multiple times over many years and never been disappointed with any selection. Great menu and atmosphere for either a business or family occasion. All around very good!
We went to the tavern after another guest told us about it.He was right,a very good meal in pleasant surroundings at a very realistic price. What more can a person want
It didn't take long to discover why Village Tavern was so busy so early in the evening...Happy Hour!! In addition to great specials and tasty appetizers (the chicken quesadilla appetizer was just right for a light dinner), the staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Shout out to the two bartenders, the hostess, and the kitchen staff!
Yet another franchise restaurant in a town that embraces them the way malls love parking spaces. The food is good if not predictable (though the crab cake, all lump, deserves special mention), and the atmosphere -- large, medium-lit clubby, lots of wood -- is nothing we haven't seen before. It all feels familiar and safe enough to bring a set... 更多
The food was exceptional and the prices were quite good. They served a nice size portion. The fish was quite tasty and the vegetables well prepared. Highly recommend it!
