This was recommeded by us by a true Porteño. It felt very local and the food was good. In particularly, there is a great variety of empanadas as well as some parrilla options. Quite full on a Saturday lunch, so get there early.

We had the Empanadas here as part of our Empanada taste test of BA. We preferred 1810 Empanadas these were a little bit burned. Service was not that great either so Empanadas did not come out together. Also had the Locro which was very traditional and good Ok food but expected more
We visited as part of a walking food tour of Recoleta and tried the carne empanadas - delicious! Yummy pockets of minced beef, onion + green olive. We came back a second time, the staff were very nice to put up with our terrible Spanish.
Must be the best empanadas in Buenos Aires so probably the best on planet earth. Very traditional style with a superb ambience. Friendly and very knowledgable waiters. Excellent steaks also. Can sometimes require some queuing during the lunchtime period. An absolute must when in Buenos Aires.
