We had the worst pizza - cheese had a funny taste, crust was soggy from the start, canned tuna on top of one of the quarters, and so on. Salads were ok - only reason I am giving it two stars.
I met family here for dinner and from their rating, they seemed a nice place. Very nice setting, however the food was not as good as one would expect, and the service was not good at all. We were not offered more drinks and during the meal itself, the waiter that we had wasnt interested in us. There are definitely... 更多
A hot windless day begging you to be outside in the shade. That's exactly what we did. An early evening supper, keeping it light and simple. Traditional springs to mind and wonderful. Service is excellent, an emphasis on training which you can clearly see. A good neighbourhood and in the city local.
It is always a pleasure to nip into Nonna Lina after a movie or for a light supper with a friend. This time was no exception other than the food seemed to be even better. I can wax lyrical over the artichoke salad every time. The staff are very friendly and try very hard but on this particular evening they... 更多
A group of four of us met here for dinner. R1600 so not a cheap restaurant by SA standards (very cheap by my own country's though!). It is a good size, there are parking-guys on the downhill corner who'll find you a park and watch the car for R2. Great outside seating area too. The food was delicious and the... 更多
After viewing a lovely movie at the Labia we went for dinner at Nonna Lina. It was very busy, we were offered a table (and blanket) outside. The service was excellent and friendly with at least three waitrons keeping an eye on us. It would be advisable to book. They have quite an extensive menu, the pizzas we ordered were... 更多
We arrived on a Friday after being delayed by My Citi bus and the owner called us to enquire if we are still coming for dinner. We arrived and ordered our starter and then proceeded to the main meal. The service was attentive and not overpowering. The pizza was one of the best we have had.
We go to Nonna Lina fairly regularly and always have very good pizza. We've been to Napoli in Italy, and the pizza at Nonna Lina is on par with pizza from Italy. The tiramisu is also quite good, and the wines and prosecco are great. The interior is a bit bland, but the food and cosy atmosphere makes up for... 更多
After seeing 'Sully" at the Labia, we needed to feed the soul, so we got the last free table inside. The waitress was attentive and we shared a pizza and a gorgeous salad with artichokes and pine nuts. The wine by the glass was slight expensive at R48 / glass but then as an old Madala , I love my... 更多
