Enjoyed a quick lunch in this historic setting. Food was good, pleasant dining room filled with art and indugenous carpets for sale, very kind and efficient service. Great for a meal and visit 'on the road'.
We stopped here with a small tour group (6 people). There seemed to be two menus one for locals, one for tourists. I order the nachos and they were the worst. They came with fake cheese sauce and plain chips with some olives and tomatoes. My partner ordered the hummus plate and it was better. I also tried the fry... 更多
The atmosphere here takes you back in time just a little with a huge stone Fire place right in the middle of the restaurant. The staff was excellent and made you feel right at home. My wife and I enjoyed the Navajo Stew with Fry Bread, OMG our mouths and stomachs were very happy. Afterwards we walked around the post... 更多
Lunch after touring south rim Grand Canyon. Had Navajo Stew with fry bread. OMG! Sublime after touring various sights of the canyon. The day was chilly and invigorating so having stew just seemed appropriate and it did not disappoint. Chunks of potatoes, carrots, celery and beef. The huge stone fireplace, stained glass windows and hammered tin ceiling were beautiful. There... 更多
It is a little hard to find the entrance. And I admit, I was not happy when, having asked for a table with a view they put me three quarters away from the window, despite having empty tables by the window. The food was fine, but truthfully, you eat there for the beauty of the restaurant, and the opportunity to... 更多
The Trading Post has lots of shopping of authentic and quite nice native goods. The restaurant has a view overlooking the little Colorado River Gorge, if possible get a table by the windows. We split a Navajo Taco which is giant and plenty for the two of us to share. It was Yummy!!!! A fun stop.
Wonderful stop for anyone heading to Lake Powell or the "back door to the Grand Canyon " . The food is great and so is the Trading Post and the Hotel ! This establishment offers a lot and is worth your time to stop ! The Taco salad is huge, and the Indian Fry bread is to die for !
As we have done before, we had spent the day at the Grand Canyon and were looking for some dinner before heading further on our trip. It was quiet because of the season and not crowded, and the service was prompt and friendly. We had the Navajo Taco (shared for two!), Beef Stew, Potato Soup, and fry breads. All was... 更多
Located adjacent to motel and trading post with view of Little Colorado River Gorge in distance. Authentic for sale Navajo rugs and kachinas line room. Be aware that tables are different heights. Service was good and Navajo taco we ate was delicious. While the only place around to eat, the prices were fair
It is the only restaurant in the area, so you will not miss it. We were glad to try out some Indian taste at this place. I had their Navajo Taco. It was really yummy. Liked their bread. Big portions, it was quite filling. Good service. There is a nice gift shop with many artifacts. In my opinion this will... 更多
